Making the Most of your Techniq Group Private Lesson

A few best practices to make your expert session count.

  • Arrive early: it is recommended that clients arrive about 10 minutes before their lesson. We have lots of space in the pool and advise that swimmers should warm up in an open lane ahead of their lesson. This allows the instructor and swimmer to maximize their time together.

  • Be on time: our lessons are often booked back-to-back and we are rarely able to supply extra time when a swimmer arrives late.

  • Bring your equipment bag: it is common for instructors to implement the use of training tools (fins, boards, paddles, buoys, etc…). It is no problem if you don’t own this equipment as we have some to borrow.

  • Consider topics: our instructors can always find something to work on, but sessions run most efficiently when a swimmer considers 1-2 topics they want to cover.

  • Finding the pool (weekends): www.techniqgroup.com/locations (Saline High School)

  • Accessing the pool on a school day: some of our lessons occur while school is in session. On school days, there is a different process for accessing the pool; in these cases, you will hear from your Techniq Group expert ahead of their session.

  • Payments: payment for private lessons is due at the time of the lesson. Lessons can be purchased HERE.
